Amaretto: A little bitter. It is an appropriate name for a lounge that seeks to soothe the soul through fine drinks and friendly chats.The staff of Amaretto are all too accustomed to life's bittersweet nature, and they took up their operation in The Shroud to offer its citizens and passers by a chance to start anew. They do not require your Gil, but they do recommend you bring something to trade.

SERVICES

No Gil Required

  • Connections Anyone is welcome regardless of their background. Amaretto employees are as sweet as they come, and they might have heard a whisper of what you're looking for.

  • Trade Bring your skills, tomes, wares, secrets--anything that can be traded, because Amaretto does not require your Gil.

  • Drinks Beverages as unique as the bartenders who make them. Alcoholic or not, sweet or savory, there are no wrong choices. But they will require payment; what will you offer?

  • Games What better way to connect than games? Blackjack, billiards, darts--all available for you to enjoy at your leisure. Gamble to your heart's content and see what you walk away with.

  • Companionship Our hosts offer companionship, conversation, and charm. They can wile away the hours of the night let them distract you from your woes.

  • Passage Amaretto balances the bitter with the sweet, but if one were looking to indulge in their Vices, they might find their drink served with a black card underneath.

The goal is to get as close to 21 without going over. The closest to 21 wins!
Because of frequent rolls please keep all blackjack rolls to party chatEach player gets 2 cards (/dice 13) to begin. Each card you get adds to your total, but you cannot remove cards. When your dealer gives you your cards, you can:

  • hitget another card for your total. you can do this until you get 21, stand, or bust.

  • standend the hand with your current total, and move to the next person.

  • double downonly available if you haven't hit yet in a hand. put in your original bet again, hit 1 time, then stand on whatever you have.

  • splitonly available if you pull 2 of the same card at the beginning. put in your original bet again, and try to get 2 hands to 21!

  • cards 2-10 are their respective numbered card. 11, 12, 13 are jack/queen/king all equal 10.

  • Ace 1 it can be a 1 or an 11 whichever is higher without busting

  • Game Billiards

The goal is to sink your 8 balls and the cue ball to win.

  • Rules Roll to start, highest roll can choose solids or stripes. Highest roll also goes first. You must sink 8 balls and the cue ball to win!

  • Call Call evens or odds before rolling to hit as well as the ball you're aiming for, if you do not roll a match to your call you miss. (1-8 Solids, 9-15 stripes)

  • Game Darts

You get 3 darts try and get the highest score to win!

  • Starting Roll to start, the closest to bulls eye (0) goes first!

  • Throwing Darts On your turn throw your three darts! Each throw is a /random roll.

  • The Rings If there are no repeating numbers it counts as a single (458), if there are two repeating numbers (224) it is a double (x2 multiplier), and three repeating numbers (888) are a triple (x3 multiplier)!

  • Score A Zero is a bullseye, and is an automatic win.

  • 1-99: worth 20

  • 100-500: worth 10

  • 500-999: worth 5

RULES

We are a (mostly) safe-for-work venue.
This is a SFW 21+ establishment. There are darker themes and substance use, but as far as intimacy goes please keep the clothes on. This is a public venue, and not all parties consent to seeing more erotic content, so please be mindful and keep it out of public chat.
Gil is optional to use.
While you are welcome to tip your staff with real Gil it is not required! Part of the fun of Amaretto is that characters can get creative with how they pay: secrets, services, a rare tome. The sky's the limit!
Don't /yell or /shout.
Staff reserves these channels to make announcements and to communicate easily with our guests. Your character should never be loud enough to need to use these channels.
Respect others' boundaries.
The golden rule applies: Treat others the way you want to be treated. If someone declines something, then move on! (And if your character is the persistent sort, then expect in-character consequences.)
Darker Themes.
Amaretto is the sister venue of Vice & Virtue. Both welcome characters of all sorts: swindlers, monsters, adventurers, and everyone in between. This lounge prides itself on connections, including connections to darker storylines.
Zero discrimination policy.
We are an LGBT-oriented space, and we do not tolerate either IC or OOC prejudice (including sexism, racism, transphobia, homophobia, etc). This especially includes IC racism.
Stay in Character while in the venue.
Small messages OOC are fine, but we ask that patrons do their best to keep as IC as they can to better enhance the experience for everyone. Long OOC chats should take place in tells.
No minions, weapons, or bard performances.
Please make it easier for us to do our job and be courteous to others. Minions take up a spot towards a venue's capacity, and Marzipan is a weapons-free establishment.
Use appropriate "status" tags.
Hexagon-shaped icons (Party Finder, Looking to Meld, or Looking for Party icons) are reserved for staff members. We encourage patrons to use the RP tag if they want to be approached for RP by either staff or other patrons!
IC ≠ OOC. OOC Consent is key.
Please do not add our staff as friends in-game or on Discord without asking first. IC behavior is not indicative of their OOC thoughts and opinions; IC enthusiasm is not OOC consent for anything. If your character is a bit rough around the edges, please do your best to check in with your rp partner and ensure all parties are having fun!
